Boho Jewellery

Boho began through an obsession with the tactile visual nature of beads. They have a unique connection with colours and textures that work together.

Liz Mark, one half of the Boho partnership is a Wellington interior designer.  Alecia Koenigsberger, the other half, is a jewellery designer from Sydney.

They started sourcing beads from antique shops, aunties jewellery boxes and markets trying to find unusual beads with a history. Now 5 years into Boho, they sourse beads from old tradition and culture world wide. Milky jade from China, 19th century excavated glass beads from Europe and amazingly coloured trade beads from Africa.

Wood, coral, horn, bone, antique silver, pearls and facetted jet are some of our favourites. Buffalo horn rosary beads, bakerlite napkin rings and retro calved sandlewood have all been a visually pleasing part of our range. They have a love of natural materials and believe simple works best. All of our their necklaces are unique, one off treasures.
