Fletcher Systems was extablished in 1999 by Auckland designer Fletcher Vaughan. It quickly became recognised in New Zealand and internationally for its creative, highly original furniture, product design and more recently public sculpture.

Fletcher himself specialises in the design and supply of
contemporary commercial but his portfolio includes furniture
designs ideal for the modern NZ home. Fletcher has over the
past 10 years but a considerable reputation as one of New Zealand's
leading furniture designers. Fletcher's skill has been
acknowledged with a succession of awards and finalist posts in the
NZ Best Design Awards.
Fletcher draws on his experience working in the music,
television and film industries to create eye-catching yet practical
furniture, product and art. His designs have been exhibited
at expos in Japan and Italy.
Fletcher System's design team includes Jamie McLellan who has
achieved local recognition for his award winning Twig
coat-stand. Jamie has designed for manufactureers and
consultancies in Australiasia, the United Kingdom, Continental
Europe, Asia and America. Before returning home to New
Zealand to establish his own studio, he was employed as senior
designer to well known Briton, Tom Dixon.
Now based in Auckland, Jamie is working on projects from
furniture to lighting to sports goods to small scale civic
architecture.
